Linda Fonju
Linda Fonju (DNP) is a dedicated and compassionate Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Missouri State University, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA, and two Post-Master’s certificates from the George Washington University School of Nursing in Washington, D.C.
With over 15 years of clinical experience, she has gained extensive expertise in treating patients across the life span. Her professional background includes work in internal medicine, primary care, psychiatry, and correctional medicine. She now specializes in psychiatry, focusing on treating patients with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, as well as other mood related disorders and substance use concerns.
She is committed to building empathetic, compassionate relationships with her patients, offering care to support those struggling with life’s challenges as well as guide clients toward achieving their optimal state of mental wellness. Her care approach is collaborative, holistic, and grounded in evidence-based practices. Dr. Fonju believes in building a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients and aspires to partner with these patients in their journey towards healing and wellness.
